What is this game about?
You are an animal in a secret laboratory where they experiment on you for evolution research, you are put in an arena where you fight other animals and level up, at a fixed number of levels you get to evolve in a number of options.
If you die, then it is gameover but the scientist gains experience where they can give you different enchantments (based on your fighting/killing history)
What does the player need to do?
Player controls a character that fires automatically in the direction the player is moving and must survive waves of experienced enemies. The goal is to survive the waves as long as possible while farm experience by surviving in order to unlock additional evolving abilities.
Key Features:
- Evolutional Ability System
- Dynamic Layout based on procedural generation.
- Timed Survival-like experience with replayability value
Win/Lose Condition:
Win Condition: Survive as long as possible to evolve.
Lose Condition: death of the player’s character. If the player’s health reaches zero by hitting enemies or projectiles, the game ends in defeat.
Endings:
Bad - Pongo has evolved to the point he became unrecognizable. After defeating the Bonobo Ape, he escapes the research facility and meets a severely injured Creon. Creon thinks Pongo is a monster and attacks him.
Good - Pongo has not assimilated any enemy, so Creon recognizes him immediately upon meeting.
The duo cuddle and then exit the facility, with the sound of wild animals slowly fading away.
How to play:
W, A, S, D to move around
Automatically firing projectiles at enemies in proximity
Defeat bats and get their dropping for XP
Unlock more abilities by getting enough XP
